Andréa's Official Bio
Founder & communications consultant, Andréa Thornton, has 20-year's experience as a successful communications executive, leading and managing global teams for major organizations like Cox Communications, Procter & Gamble, Bausch and Lomb, and Orkin.
Prior to leaving her corporate position, Andrea created and facilitated the Step IT Up America Corporate Social Responsibility Program aimed at diversifying and transforming IT teams across the nation and abroad by recruiting, training, and hiring minority women and veterans. Through this flagship program, she worked alongside mayors from ten of the largest cities in the nation and communication teams at corporations including Walmart and Anthem, garnering support from former vice president Joe Biden. Since its inception in 2013, more than 10,000 women and veterans have registered for the program, and more than a dozen corporations have successfully hired them.
It is now Andrea’s mission to give businesses the tools she has developed in her career to achieve increased market share, industry thought leadership and maximum revenue potential.
